Little outfits. Big adventures.
Tweed is built for play. We crafted a visual identity that blends high-quality fabrics with playful doodles, capturing the messy, magical reality of childhood without sacrificing style.
Tweed
(2024)
Tweed is a boutique kids' clothing brand born from a simple idea: children’s wardrobes should be as imaginative as their playtimes. Moving away from the 'beige' trend of modern parenting, Tweed embraces a 'Maximalist Fun' philosophy. Innosage was tasked with creating a complete visual identity that felt premium yet unpolished—blending professional studio photography with raw, hand-drawn scribbles to create a brand that feels like a living storybook.

The Challenge
The Era of Boring Baby Clothes.
Most premium kids' brands today are trying too hard to look like adult brands—minimalist, neutral, and stiff. The challenge for Tweed was to reclaim the 'fun' without looking like a discount toy store. We needed to solve a dual-audience problem: How do we appeal to the 'Cool Parent' who wants a curated aesthetic, while still speaking to the 'Creative Kid' who just wants to jump in puddles?
The Solution
The Mixed-Media Playground.
We developed a visual system that feels 'melted' and soft, mirroring the comfort of the clothes themselves.
- The 'Melted' Identity: The primary logo features a bubble-letter, 'melted' aesthetic, immediately signaling that this is a brand that doesn't take itself too seriously.
- Typography Duo: We paired Balsamiq Sans for a hand-drawn, 'marker-pen' feel in headlines with Nunito for a clean, rounded, and legible body font. This balance keeps the brand functional but full of personality.
- The Doodle Layer: We pioneered a 'Mixed Media' approach for the campaign imagery. By layering hand-drawn motifs—like the Tweed Jellyfish, rainbows, and crowns—over professional photography, we turned static ads into interactive adventures.
- The Palette: We used a vibrant spectrum of Coral, Mustard, and Prussian Blue to ensure the brand felt energetic across all touchpoints, from hangtags to billboards.
The results
A Brand in Motion.
The result is a retail-ready identity that feels alive.
- Emotional Connection: The 'Doodle' aesthetic allows parents to see the clothes through the eyes of their children, fostering immediate brand loyalty.
- Retail Readiness: We extended the system into physical assets, including custom-patterned tissue paper, 'Easy-Snap' clothing tags, and high-impact out-of-home (OOH) billboards.
- A Distinct Voice: Tweed now stands as a 'Main Character' brand in the kids' sector—proving that premium quality and pure imagination can coexist in the same outfit.
